1. Agreement
By installing or using the CalorieCountglobal app (the "App") you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install the App and delete it if already installed.
The App is operated by Daler Soliev ("we", "us"). For contact information see Privacy Policy §1.
2. The App, in plain language
CalorieCountglobal helps you log meals using your iPhone camera, estimate carbohydrates and macros from a photo, and (when paired with a continuous glucose monitor that writes to Apple Health) see how each meal correlates with your real glucose response over the following two hours.
2.1 CalorieCountglobal is NOT a medical device
This is the most important paragraph in this document.
- The macro and glycemic-load estimates are educational. They are AI-generated approximations from a single photo. They are not clinically validated.
- The food-to-glucose correlations the App displays are observational, not diagnostic.
- CalorieCountglobal cannot detect, treat, manage, prevent, or diagnose any disease, including diabetes, prediabetes, hypoglycemia, or any other metabolic condition.
- If you have a medical condition that requires accurate carbohydrate counting (e.g., insulin-dependent diabetes), use the apps your endocrinologist or care team has prescribed. Do not rely on CalorieCountglobal for medical decision-making.
- The App is not approved by, cleared by, or registered with any medical-device regulator (FDA in the US, MHRA in the UK, EMA in Europe, etc.) and is not held out as a medical device.
By using the App, you confirm that you understand these limitations.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on iOS devices you own or control, for your own personal use, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (Schedule "Licensed Application End User License Agreement").
You may NOT:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as Apple's standard EULA explicitly permits.
- Use the App in violation of any applicable law (including export-control regulations under EAR §740.17(b)(1) ECCN 5D992.c, under which the App is distributed).
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or lease access to the App or your subscription.
- Use the App to scrape, train, or aggregate data on behalf of any third party.
- Probe, attack, or attempt to bypass the App's rate-limiting or paywall mechanisms.
4. Subscriptions and payments
4.1 Tiers
CalorieCountglobal is free to download with limited functionality (3 meal scans per day; full single-meal flow). Premium features (unlimited scans, full Insights tab, weekly summaries) are unlocked with one of:

Local-currency prices are set by Apple per region. The displayed price in the App is the price you pay.
4.2 Auto-renewal
Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via your Apple ID Subscriptions settings. We cannot cancel your subscription on your behalf — Apple controls the billing relationship.
4.3 Free trial
The 7-day free trial on the annual subscription converts automatically to a paid year unless cancelled before the end of the seventh day. To cancel without paying, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone and tap Cancel before the trial ends.
4.4 Refunds
All payments go through Apple. We do not handle refunds — request them via reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no way to issue a refund directly because we never see your payment information.
4.5 Lifetime access
The "Lifetime" purchase grants premium access for as long as the CalorieCountglobal app remains operational under our ownership and is published in the App Store of the region where the purchase was made. If we discontinue the App or transfer ownership, lifetime purchasers will be notified at least 30 days in advance via the Apple Developer ASA (App Store Announcement) channel. We make no other guarantee about the duration of "lifetime".
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use CalorieCountglobal to:
- Attempt to circumvent the per-day scan rate limit by minting multiple per-install tokens, sharing tokens, or proxying requests through automation.
- Submit images that are not meal photos — abuse-detection on our backend may flag and reject such requests, and repeat abuse may result in your token being blocked.
- Submit photos containing other-person identifying information (e.g., a stranger's face in the background of a meal photo) without that person's consent. If we receive a takedown request involving content you submitted, we will forward it; we cannot remove what we don't store, but we will block your token from making further requests if abuse is established.
- Reproduce or republish the AI-generated estimate text in a manner that implies clinical accuracy or third-party endorsement.
6. AI estimates — accuracy disclaimer
The carbohydrate, protein, fat, calorie, and glycemic-load estimates produced by the App are AI-generated. They are subject to error. Plate composition, portion size, ingredient identification, cooking method, and lighting all affect the estimate. We do not guarantee accuracy of any specific estimate, and you should treat each estimate as a starting point for your own review and adjustment, not a final value.
The App's "confidence" score is an internal heuristic from the model and is similarly approximate.
7. Apple Health integration
The App reads blood-glucose data from Apple Health (HealthKit) when you grant permission. The App never writes to Apple Health. Read-only access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → CalorieCountglobal.
We do not, in any circumstance, transmit your Apple Health data off your device.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. The backend service that performs AI analysis may be unavailable due to:
- OpenAI API outages or rate-limits;
- Cloudflare network issues;
- Maintenance windows we communicate via https://caloriecountglobal.app/status;
- Force-majeure events.
When the backend is unavailable, the App's local features (logging, viewing past meals, glucose correlation) continue to work. Only new AI analyses fail.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to backend services (i.e., AI analysis) if we believe in good faith you have violated §5 (Acceptable use). On-device functionality remains available.
You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by:
- Cancelling any active subscription via your Apple ID Subscriptions, and
- Deleting the App from your iPhone.
There is no separate "delete my account" — there's no account.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Daler Soliev BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, FOR ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (VIA APPLE) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Daler Soliev harmless from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of applicable law; (c) your misuse of the App; or (d) your reliance on AI-generated estimates for any medical decision.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For material changes (any change to §4 Subscriptions, §6 AI estimates disclaimer, §10 Liability), we will notify you in-app on next launch and require explicit acknowledgement before continued use of premium features.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
